Welcome to MicroFunding Managers and congratulations on selecting a project to work with.Once you are ready to pitch for funding for the Proof of Concept you can use the Angels Den service to pitch to over 3000 Angels to attract their interest. Using the online process costs £799 plus VAT and can usually be completed in a few hours and will be live to Angels in a day or so. You will find guidance notes and examples specifically written for you every step of the way to give you the best chance of success. No success fee applies to the MicroFunding Proof of Concept Project phase.Step 1 - RegisterYou will need to register on the site just once, no matter how many businesses you want to pitch for. If you forget your logon details you can retrieve them by typing your email address in at "Forgotten Password". Click the "register" button at the bottom of the page.Step 2 - Create an Executive Summary of the Project (part of your membership fee benefits)The next part is click on the button "Create Summary" to pay £799 plus VAT to create and submit a short Summary online of the business to be sent out to the Angels by answering the questions you will find there.
If your idea is pre-patent remember to talk about the idea or invention and not disclose the protectable part.Once you have done this and it has been checked by Angels Den it will be sent out to all our Angels and they will be able to see it when searching the site. You will be able to see how many Angels are interested in your idea and can start to gauge the potential interest. However most won't take your idea seriously until the Business Plan executive Summary and Proof of Concept Project Plan is submitted. Step 3 - Create a Proof of Concept Project Plan and Business Plan Executive SummaryLog into your account and start your full Business Plan and upload your Proof of Concept Project Plan. Once your documents are submitted, any interested Angels will contact you through our site and he can either set up a meeting for you or put you in direct contact if that is more convenient.If the Proof of Concept is successful your Angel has the first option to invest in the start-up business and in most instances will be expected to do so. However if the Angel decides to release that option you may return to Angels Den to pitch for further funding. If this is the case please email juliet@angelsden.co.uk quoting your Proof of Concept project name to get a 50% discount on the online fee.
