Angels Den offers free consultations so you can decide whether Angel funding is right for your business. Members are assigned an experienced advisor who will offer advice and assistance on getting your business ready to attract potential investors, as well as preparing you for Pitching School where you will learn how to really sell your ideas and share your enthusiasm ahead of your SpeedFunding event.

SpeedFunding sessions are signature events pioneered by Angels Den where entrepreneurs pitch to a business angel individually or in small groups and then move on to the next one, seeing up to twelve Angels at one session and achieving great results. SpeedFunding events have proved highly successful for the vast majority of Angels Den members, with 90% of entrepreneurs pitching gaining interest from at least one Angel and some receiving interest from as many as ten from one SpeedFunding session.
Edinburgh has played host to its own Angels Den success story. Larosco, on online marketing company based in North Queensferry, developed a revolutionary marketing recommendations software system that was so innovative they had difficulty explaining it to potential investors and lacked the funding to bring it to market. Within a few months of joining Angels Den, Larosco had secured the financial backing of an Angel and are set to launch the Bongomagic software later this summer.
Larosco’s Sales Director, Laura Sullivan, couldn’t be more pleased about their Angels Den experience: “Now we have investment securely in place we can take our radical software from concept stage to the market. This is a marvellous result”.
