The Annual Awards Ceremony 2009
The BBAA is delighted to announce the winners at the BBAA Annual Awards Ceremony 2009.
Business Angel Network of the Year - WINNER - Oxford Investment Opportunity Network
Judges looked for evidence that the network that had consistently grown by recruiting new investors and increasing awareness of angel investment in its region. The network will also have completed deals despite the current economic climate and will have looked at innovative methods to drive business angel investing in its locality and also demonstrated non-financial support for both entrepreneurs and investors.
The judges found that Oxford Investment Opportunity Network had demonstrated strong growth in the level of investment activity they supported, despite the economic challenges faced during the year. They had also developed a good model of peer support for new angel investors.
The judges also wanted to congratulate Angels Den for the very strong start they have made in bringing a new model into the market place
